Pico Escondido (Hidden Peak) is a Young Life Camp in the Dominican Republic that serves as part of the local Young Life ministry (Vida Joven Dominicana). Construction on Pico began in the spring of 1999 and is projected to be completed in the next five to seven years. Currently we have facilities to host up to 110 kids and leaders. Once completed, Pico Escondido will be able to host groups of up to 250. Our construction continues year round with Pico Escondido's full-time Young Life staff, which includes Americans, Dominicans and Columbians. A large amount of the construction is accomplished by our many work teams who come down to serve for a week or two as well as our summer staffers who spend several weeks serving here each summer.
